The above position exists with our client a large government organization in Abu Dhabi. The main responsibilities of the jobholder will be to research law, investigate facts and prepare documents to assist the Senior Legal Counsel. His responsibilities will also include researching and analyzing law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, legal codes; preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, agreements etc.; investigating facts and law of case to determine causes and preparing the case accordingly; maintaining custody of legal volumes and ensuring that they are up-to-date etc.
The ideal candidate will be a University degree holder preferably a Law graduate with about 2 years work experience. Excellent command over written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be an asset. Ability to read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals and professional journals is desirable.
